She graduated in 2001 from Utah College of Massage Therapy. She completed a comprehensive continuing education program ASTECC in 2011 which led her to becoming a Vodder School certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Decongestive therapist. Her career began in luxury spas where she practiced both massage therapy and esthetics. Once making a change into a private practice with Focus Bodywork in 2016, she truly got to put her years of experience and learning to good use, specializing in injury and post-op recovery, orthopedic massage and helping those who suffer from lymphedema. Her latest pursuits include Cranial Sacral Therapy mentored by Margaret Madsen, visceral manipulation with the Barral Institute and offering a mentorship program for newly graduated LMTs.
Beyond her life as a massage therapist she enjoys her time with her little blended family. If they aren’t at home cooking and playing games they are off somewhere in their vintage motorhome or adventuring to some far off place. Her other interests include pottery, live music, baths (one of her favorite pastimes), gardening and feeding her friends and family.
